Book Review: Silenced

Silenced, by Betsy Brannon Green, published by Covenant Communications

Mila Edwards is always assigned the low-profile cases—that’s what happens to young cops who won’t obey orders. Then, what seems to be a routine police call begins to look like something much more sinister—at least to Mila.

Once again she is faced with the dilemma of following orders or solving the case. However, this time there are children involved, and they are depending on Mila to reunite them with their missing parents. These kids are too well loved for Mila to believe their parents would abandon them. Now Mila and the children’s charming uncle Quin are forced to race against time along an unorthodox path in search of the truth.

Another great book by Betsy Brannon Green! If you have read any of her previous books - you will recognize some of the characters as old friends; Miss Eugenia, Mark, Kate, Georgia and Polly. However, you do not need to read previous books to devour this one. This author always turns out interesting books that are suspenseful, romantic, and have colorful characters. I couldn't predict anything that was going to happen - and I always enjoy that! I recommend this book as a wonderful read! I hope you will sit down on a rainy day and enjoy it.
