The Institute is a one-day conference on legal topics of interest to the educational community. Keynote speakers, include two past presidents of the national Education Law Association, a past Deputy General Counsel in the Department of Education, and the current U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education, William Hansen. Mr. Hansen is the number two administrator in the U.S. Department of Education, while at the same time serving as a Bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will be discussing the No Child Left Behind legislation and will be taking questions from the audience at the luncheon session of the conference.
